Crochet: Timberland Baby Booties

On Craftsy, I also came across a super adorable crochet pattern for Timberland Baby Booties http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/crocheting/clothing/pattern-baby-booties/122118

Little did I know that the pattern itself is not that complicated…but the description is lacking sufficient detail and some of the wording is a bit strange…none-the-less it took me a minute to decipher the meaning of the pattern.

Next time I make these adorable booties, I will take detailed notes on the number of stitches per row to make it easier to replicate the pattern and create identical booties.

I used
Classic Wool DK Superwash by Patons
Yarn size: 3
Crochet hook size: 4mm, US size G/6
Colors: gold for the shoe, dark gray heather for the sole, mocha for the shoe laces and trim

So far I have made two pairs: one pair for 0-6 months and one pair for 6-12 months. Once these shoes reach their new owner, I will comment about how well the sizing works.
